Dave Peterson is the son of Ray and Carol Peterson, and was played by Cory Danziger.
Plot[]
Dave tells his father Ray and their neighbor, Art Weingartner that about a week ago, he used a telescope up on the roof, and he saw the Klopeks, who are three nocturnal feeders and gravediggers, which means digging those poor helpless victims (Knapps) they ate in the backyard that night, as told by Ricky Butler.
Dave is later seen visiting Ricky next door as they and other neighbors see one of the Klopeks, Hans, who came out of their own house, and then watched Ray and Art go up to the Klopeks' house and they try to knock on the door. Suddenly, there were bees that try to sting Art & Ray, who both run to Lt. Mark and Bonnie at their own residence in the hurry, as they turn on the hose and spray water on Ray and Art in order to make the bees go away, and succeeded. While Ricky found it funny and was laughing, Dave didn’t see it as such.
One day, while Ray, Carol, Mark and Bonnie are welcomed to the Klopeks in their house, Dave rushed over to Ricky and told him, “They were in there, all right. They were all just standing around.”
Ricky turned to Dave and smiled at him, and Dave smiled back. Ricky and Dave then turned to watch Art (who wasn’t invited) use a ladder to get in the Klopeks’ backyard; Dave and Ricky tell him to watch it, and to be careful, and Art says he is watching his step, but falls over into the backyard anyway. When Ricky asks if he made it, Art replies that he did, and calls for them to throw him the tools. Dave and Ricky then throw him the long handle pick mattock, which hits Art (causing him to yell “Ow!” and fall over on the ground). This time, like Rick, Dave saw the humor in the situation, and laughed along with Ricky.
The next day, Carol, Dave and their dog Vince are going to visit Carol’s sister Evelyn, and her children, Rudy & Diane; however, Dave revealed his dislike of seeing his cousins. Meanwhile, Ray and Art say they’re going to to play golf. But instead, after Carol and Dave leave, Ray and Art get to the bottom of the mystery about the Klopeks.
Dave isn’t seen during the rest of the movie.

- The character is based on a new neighbor, named Ramon (played by Stuart Stone) in one of the epsidoes of Beetlejuice: The Animated Series, which called Beetledude.
